
Eyal Pinko is a former senior Israeli naval and intelligence officer with almost 30 years of service across operational, engineering, and command roles, including leading naval intelligence and later heading an intelligence operations division within the National Intelligence Agency. Highly decorated, he has extensive experience in covert operations, maritime terrorism, weapons proliferation, and national security.
Since retiring in 2017, he has worked as a senior consultant to the Israeli National Cyber Directorate and is now a researcher and lecturer on cyber, intelligence, and maritime security, with a PhD in Defence and Security Studies and multiple honours degrees. He has published extensively (500+ articles), authored work on Iranian naval asymmetric warfare and maritime cybersecurity, and is a frequent media commentator. He serves as President of the International Institute for Migration and Security Research and is CEO of Terra Strategic Solutions and SAIFORT, focusing on intelligence, crisis management, and cybersecurity.
